Ms. Gray was appointed Vice President of Clinical Services in 2008. She has 26 years experience in the Health Care Field. Her experience includes Medical Surgical Nursing, Inpatient Adult and Adolescent Psychiatric Nursing, Home Health, School Nursing, Adult Vocational Education for Health Care Professions, as well as Long Term Care. She has been a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for 18 years.
Her Long Term Care experience includes Administration, Professional Services Consulting at Beverly Enterprises, within Avalon she held positions in Medicare/Reimbursement Management, Regional Nurse Consultant, and was promoted to Regional Vice President for the state of Washington in 2005. She holds a BSN from Minot State College in Minot, North Dakota and an MBA from Andrew Jackson University in Birmingham, Alabama. She is a Certified Nursing Home Administrator with the American College of Health Care Administrators as well as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant. She served on the Board of Directors for the Idaho Health Care Association and was appointed by the Governor of Idaho to serve on the Board of Occupational Licensure.
Ms. Gray's system to insure quality care within our organization is through Avalon's Continuous Quality Improvement programs. She is driven to look for ways to further advance our systems of care and execute these changes to improve clinical outcomes and quality of life for our residents. These continuous improvements allow Avalon to be the premiere health care provider within our communities and "Best in Class" within our industry.
